When I tried to find a version of the Bible so that I could create a printable version of Romans, I was surprised to discover that most translations of the Bible are not public domain. How could that be possible, I wondered.
So, I did a little research and discovered that one of the versions of the Bible that IS in the public domain is the World English Bible. In fact, there is a nice website for this edition – WorldEnglish.Bible – where I was able to pull the text and the footnotes. Nothing has been altered. Feel free to download the following documents as needed. They are in PDF format, so you will need a PDF reader in order to interact with them.
